Ribworx founded by Steve Simpson, was established due to the lack of service & repairs within the marine industry specialising in Rigid Inflatable Boats. Working in the industry for over 25 years, he has managed the busiest workshops and has sold the most inflatable boats in WA!

Whilst travelling around the world to teach windsurfing, and dinghy sailing in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean region, Steve was introduced to Rigid Inflatable boats, and used them as teaching platforms.

 

After learning specific methodology in service & repair, his outstanding skills were highlighted year after year, and has lead him to many  careers in the marine industry.

Steve sold  Rigid Inflatable boats with one of the largest boat dealers in Fremantle 'Freedom Marine',  and assisted in the opening of West RIBS in Fremantle, then managed the workshop and sales department, as well as the sales and import of Gulf Craft, and Majesty Yachts into Australia.

Steve left and started up Ribworx during the winter of 2015 due to an exceptional demand for a high quality RIB repair center.  6 years later, Ribworx is still flourishing!

Ribworx is conveniently located just outside of Fremantle Western Australia, close to many sailing clubs and marinas.
